Buy a headlight/tail light set, and sponsor another set for a community member at the same time.  These bike lights and their variations are extremely popular Christmas gifts and are good for stocking stuffers.  They are great if you just need an inexpensive light and don’t already have one.  We use them for family bike rides, our “Bike Parade“.

Note: Our goal is to get more bike lights out into the community and minimize packaging waste.  As such, these are bare-bones, without retail packaging or instructions.

USB Charging Bicycle Headlight and Tail light set

This is a minimal, inexpensive, and easy to install and remove head light and tail light set.  The bike lights are USB-rechargeable (micro-USB cable included) and install using a elastic silicone strap.  You can press the button to toggle between High, Low, Blink, Fast Blink, and Off.

Easy to use and super bright bike lights for the price

These are easy to attach to kids bikes, easy to use, and provide a fantastic amount of brightness for the price.  Kids like being able to have their own light that they can turn on and off as they please.

For each light sold, we’ll give one away to a bicycle-riding community member.

Bikes lights make a good birthday present for women, men, girls, and boys of all ages.  By purchasing one of these, you will sponsor a LED bike light for a child who rides in our Bike Parades.

Why do I need bicycle headlights?

This is sort of restating the obvious, but they help make you more visible to other road users, especially when there’s not a lot of light or when it’s dark outside.  This helps reduce the risk of collisions and accidents.

Additionally, they help you see the road ahead.  This can help navigate around obstacles, potholes, and other hazards.

In some areas, it’s a legal requirement to have a front light on your bike when riding at night or in lower light conditions.

Headlights increase your visibility and safety on the road, and can be a useful part of your commute, errand, or recreational ride.

Why do I need bicycle tail lights?

Bicycle tail lights serve a similar purpose to headlights – they make you more visible to others on the road.  This can reduce the risk of collisions and accidents as well.

Tail lights make you more visible from behind, especially in low light or dark conditions. This can be especially important when riding in busier areas, as it can help drivers and other road users see you and know you are there.

It may also be a legal requirement to have a rear bicycle tail light where you ride.
