Description
This is donut with sprinkles spoke decoration for a bicycle wheel. Painted options are available.
Donuts are a classic treat that have a long and colorful history. They are believed to have originated from the Dutch settlers who brought their fried dough balls, or olykoeks, to America in the 19th century. The hole in the center was added to ensure even cooking and prevent raw dough in the middle. The pink frosting and sprinkles (optional for this spoke decoration) were popularized by a cartoon dad on an animated show who loved food.
This bike accessory is a custom design and is suitable for kids (14″, 16″, 20″, 24″, 26″ wheels) and adult bikes (26″, 650b, 700c, 29″) alike and is designed to stay in place and only slide minimally. (They are not noisemakers like some spoke beads)
The spoke decoration is slightly smaller than a quarter, as shown in the picture.
Compatible with any bike wheel with standard round-diameter bicycle spokes (usually 1.8-2.3mm in diameter). Most road bikes, mountain bikes, kid bikes, and electric bicycles use spokes this size. Installation is easy, simply snap it onto your bike’s spokes and adjust as desired. Works on pavement and trails.
We can make custom bicycle spoke decorations as well. Contact us with any idea, and hopefully we can make it happen!
