Free BikeMobile Repair and Community Bike Meetup
Saturday April 6th, 3-6pm, Lower Yard
Do you want to ride more, but your bike needs work? Chabot families, staff, and community members are welcome to join a community bike meetup on Saturday, April 6th from 3-6pm at the Lower Yard.
Bring any bike that needs fixing and the BikeMobile will educate while performing free repairs (funded by Spare the Air Youth). Also bring kid, adult, and family cargo bikes for skills practice, bike activities, and to meet other community members.
I'll buy pizza (likely from Sliver), if you'd like to chip in to defray the costs (about $3.50/slice), we can chat about it at the event.
- Saturday April 6th, 3:00pm-6:00pm @ Chabot Elementary Lower Yard
- Meet at Chabot, or optional ride out at 2:30pm from Emerson Elementary softball field (49th & Shafter)
- BikeMobile will perform free bike repairs - be ready to get stuff fixed!
- Bike-related games + chalk courses at Chabot
Join the Chabot Bike Bus! Every Wednesday during the school year!
It's the most fun way to get to school. Kids get healthy physical activity, make friends, engage with each other and the community, practice independence, and contribute to cleaner air.
